Precision gears, built from your drawings — spur, helical, bevel, worm, and internal.
We manufacture gears in low- and mid-volume production runs. Send us a DWG, STEP, or PDF — we'll quote in 24 hours and ship a first article within 30 days of drawing approval. Standard precision is ISO 1328 Class 6; Class 5 is available on ground gears.

Simple construction, easy to manufacture, exact ratios and high efficiency, with no axial thrust. Suited to low- and medium-speed, light-to-medium-power drives between parallel shafts — gearboxes, machine tools and automation equipment.
High contact ratio for smooth, quiet running, high load capacity and long service life (generates some axial thrust in operation). Suited to parallel-shaft drives with frequent starts, medium-to-high speed and a wide power range where low noise and smooth motion are required.
Simple construction, easy to machine and install, exact ratios and lower cost. Suited to medium- and low-speed drives between intersecting shafts (typically 90°) across a wide power range — differentials, agricultural and general machinery.
Curved teeth with more teeth in mesh — smooth, quiet running, high load capacity and long service life. Suited to intersecting-shaft drives with frequent starts, frequent forward/reverse changes, medium-to-high speed and a wide power range, such as automotive final drives and precision machinery.

What we make
External and internal · m 0.5 – m 12 (≈ DP 50–2) · OD up to Ø 600 mm
Single and double-helical / herringbone · helix angle to spec
Straight and spiral bevel · for orthogonal axes
Single-, double-, and four-start threads · bronze worm wheels

Wolfer specializes in transmission gears for medical robots, machine tools, laser equipment, and industrial automation. We do not stock catalog gears — every part we ship is cut to a customer drawing.
Cutting is done on Push Ningjiang / Maitelite hobbing centers, Qinchuan/Xinghe gear grinders, and our PREC60 gear measuring center (Klingelnberg-type) checks pitch, profile, lead, and runout to ISO 1328 tolerances before shipping. Heat treatment (carburizing, nitriding, induction hardening) and grinding are sequenced in-house, so the gear that arrives is the gear we measured.

FAQ
Wolfer routinely produces ISO 1328 Class 6 hobbed gears and ISO 1328 Class 5 ground gears. Class 5 requires gear-grinding after heat treatment and adds roughly 5–7 days to the lead time.
Standard envelope is up to Ø 600 mm OD. For larger gears (up to Ø 1,200 mm) we use the large-machine bay at our Foshan plant — please share the drawing for a feasibility check.
Yes — we machine acetal (POM) and PA66 nylon gears for low-noise, dry-running applications. We also injection-mold plastic gears via partner tooling for higher volumes.
