We machine V-belt pulleys (sheaves) from solid bar — your bore, your keyway, your groove count, your finish. Narrow SPZ / SPA / SPB / SPC sections ship to drawing, plain-bore or taper-bushed; non-standard groove geometry is quoted from your belt supplier’s spec.

Smallest narrow-wedge section (SPZ), taper-bushing (Taper-Lock) mounted, keyless quick-fit, high power per width. Suited to compact, low-to-medium-power high-speed drives.

SPA narrow-wedge pulley, taper-bushing mounted; power and size between SPZ and SPB. Suited to fans, pumps and compressors — general power transmission.

SPB narrow-wedge pulley, taper-bushing mounted; higher capacity, multi-groove capable. Suited to medium-to-high-power fans, pumps and industrial drives.

SPC narrow-wedge pulley — largest section, highest capacity, multi-groove for high power. Suited to high-power, heavy-duty drives.

V-belt pulleys drive the fans, pumps, compressors, and conveyors that keep plants running. Groove geometry decides belt life: a wrong groove angle or a rough flank can burn through a belt set in months, and an out-of-round sheave shakes the whole drive.
We machine every sheave from solid bar (no castings), so bore-to-groove concentricity is held to ≤ 0.03 mm and groove angles are gauged to DIN 2211 / ISO 4183. Sheaves ship plain-bore with keyway, or bored for Taper-Lock / QD bushings.
For drives that need balancing — high-speed fans, large-diameter sheaves — we balance on request and ship the report. Want it ready to mount? We supply the sheave with its matching taper bushing as a set.
