Machined Transmission Parts

CNC-turned and milled non-standard transmission components, from your DWG or STEP file.

When a transmission assembly needs a non-catalog part — a custom flange, an idler axle, a clamping collar, a motor adapter, a non-standard hub — Wolfer's machine shop handles it. CNC turning, milling, 4-axis machining, and full heat / surface treatment, all under one roof.

Wolfer

What we make

Machined Parts we cut from drawings.

Adapter flanges

Motor-to-gearbox, gearbox-to-machine, custom bolt circles

Clamping collars / hubs

Split clamp, double-bolt, custom-bore

Idler shafts / axles

Stepped shafts for pulley and sprocket idlers

Bearing housings

Custom housings for non-standard bearing sizes

Motor-extension shafts

Custom motor outputs for non-standard motor flanges

Locking nuts & rings

Locknuts, retaining rings, spacers — to drawing

Half of every gearbox is the gears; the other half is the assembly hardware — adapter flanges, motor-mount plates, bearing covers, clamping collars, idler shafts. We make those from your DWG / STEP / PDF, with the same heat-treatment and inspection programs that our gears go through.

Common requests: motor-extension shafts cut to fit a non-standard motor flange; idler-pulley axles with custom keyways; clamping collars for shaft positioning; one-off bearing housings for prototype assemblies; replacement flanges for legacy equipment where the original supplier is gone.

Order sizes run from a single replacement piece to batches of 200–500. For higher volumes we partner with our extended supply chain for casting + machining, with Wolfer holding the inspection responsibility.

Standards

Built to international tolerance specs.

  • ISO 2768-mK (general tolerance)
  • ISO 286 (limits and fits)
  • ASME Y14.5 (GD&T)

Inspection

Every part measured before it ships.

  • CMM — for ± 0.005 mm features
  • Optical projector — profile / radius / chamfer verification
  • Air gauges for bore tolerances
  • Surface roughness tester

FAQ

Common questions from engineers buying this product.

Do you accept STEP files only, or do you need 2D drawings?

Either. A STEP file plus a 2D drawing showing critical dimensions and tolerances is ideal — the STEP gives us the geometry, the 2D tells us where to hold tight tolerance and what surface finish to target.

What is the minimum order quantity?

One piece. We routinely cut replacement parts for OEMs where the original supplier has closed or discontinued the part.
