Roller-chain sprockets and custom industrial chain wheels — hardened teeth, custom hubs.

Wolfer manufactures single-, double-, and triple-strand roller chain sprockets in ANSI #25 through #240 (1/4 in to 3 in pitch — 6.35 to 76.2 mm). Tooth flanks are induction-hardened for wear life; hubs are turned to your shaft, keyway, and set-screw arrangement.

Roller-chain sprockets are the workhorses of conveyors, packaging machinery, agricultural equipment, and amusement-park rides. We supply them in four hub styles (Type A = plain disc, B = hub one side, C = hub both sides, D = split / removable hub) and in custom tooth counts.

Tooth flanks are induction-hardened to HRC 50–55 — enough to keep the chain rollers riding on a hard surface for the life of the chain. Hub bores are reamed (or broached) to drawing, with set-screw flats, keyways, or shrink-fit interferences.

For non-standard chain pitches (large industrial roller chains, attachment-chain sprockets), send us the chain spec and we will cut a one-off.

Can you make a sprocket for a non-standard chain?

Yes — send us the chain spec sheet (or the chain itself) and we'll cut a matching sprocket. Common requests: attachment chains, large agricultural chains, conveyor-specific chains.

Do you supply matched chain?

We focus on sprockets, but for full sprocket-and-chain sets we partner with major Chinese chain manufacturers such as Donghua. Tell us your duty cycle and we will recommend a chain grade.
