We machine timing (synchronous) pulleys from raw bar — your bore, your keyway, your tooth profile, your finish. Standard profiles (HTD 3M / 5M / 8M / 14M, MXL, XL, L, H, XH) ship to drawing; custom curvilinear or trapezoidal profiles are quoted from your belt-supplier spec.

Smooth-OD or flanged-only, with bearing bores
Timing pulleys live on motor shafts and idler axes in 3D printers, packaging lines, semiconductor robots, and surgical equipment. Mismatched tooth profiles cause belt walking; bore concentricity errors cause belt-tension oscillation that wears the belt prematurely.
We cut every pulley from solid bar (no castings), so concentricity between the bore and the pitch diameter is held to ≤ 0.03 mm. Pulleys come with or without flanges, with custom keyways, set-screw flats, or taper-bushing bores.
For OEMs who change shaft sizes across motor families, we hold the tooth-cut tooling and re-machine the bore — meaning you can re-order the same pulley body with a different bore in 7–10 days.
